A bit about Exhausto

Foundation laid in 1957

EXHAUSTO was founded in 1957 in the town of Sorø on the Danish island of Zealand. The background was the unique idea to build a chimney fan for installation on top of the chimney to obtain ideal draught in open fireplaces, wood-burning stoves and boilers.

EXHAUSTO has more than 40 years experience within Ventilation and Chimney Draught Technology.

Through the years the role as being market leader has been stressed by the fact that EXHAUSTO was the first company to introduce:

• Chimney fans for domestic heating appliances
• Box ventilation fans sound and condensation insulated with a hinged service door for easy access.
• Low-energy box ventilation fans with integrated frequency converter
• Factory mounted air handling management systems
• Housing ventilation systems

These and other important milestones show that EXHAUSTO always has been in front with regard to development and production of effective solutions. Our market knowledge and active participation in international standardization work enable us to develop system solutions that satisfy the demands of both the present and the future.

The chimney fans offer capacities which will cover any heating appliance from small domestic fireplaces in private homes to larger commercial/ industrial boiler installations. System solutions for gas appliances have built-in failsafe operation developed to meet international standards.
