In restaurant applications, GSV grease fans
are used to vent broilers, BBQ, Pizza Ovens, fryers and other cooking
appliances. With direct drive and variable speed they offer great energy
savings and savings on operations and maintenance as there are not belts
that can break.
In residential applications, GSV and BESF can vent kitchen hoods and
pizza ovens. They can be used as “remote fans” that eliminate
ventilation and motor noise in a kitchen while still providing maximum
ventilation. The fans have variable speed and can be interlocked with
most kitchen hoods that have variable speed control ability.

The EXHAUSTO BESF Box Ventilator is a high
performance ventilator, designed for whisper quiet operation. Not only
is it quiet, it is also invisible.
The BESF will efficiently vent any type of kitchen hood: Wall
Mounted, Island and Even Down Draft Units

The BESF Box ventilator can be installed in an attic, garage or
basement - or wherever convenient. It is designed to perform year after
year and is equipped with a completely enclosed motor, deeming it
virtually maintenance free. The housing opens for easy access to the
blower wheel and the duct.
It can be controlled by virtually any hood speed
control. The fan offers capacities from 500 CFM to 5000+CFM. EXHAUSTO is
world-famous for its commercial line of ventilators and is excited to
introduce this new line of kitchen exhaust fans to the residential
kitchen market. |

The housing is made of galvanized steel and insulated with
1.25" thick fiberglass mats. The impeller is of the forward inclined type
made of 304 SS. |

The EXHAUSTO BESF Box Ventilator is intended for use as an
exhaust or supply fan. It can be installed in-line in the duct or at the
termination points. It is specifically designed for applications where reliable
and efficient operation, low noise level, low energy consumption, variable speed
and compact design are of utmost importance.
Typical uses are: residential kitchen exhaust, general
exhaust applications and combustion air supply. For indoor installation only.
The EXHAUSTO BESF Box Ventilator is an efficient ventilator
with forward-inclined impeller. The ventilator housing is made of galvanized
steel and insulated on all sides with fiberglass mats. The insulation assures a
very low noise level and reduces the risk of condensation significantly.
The BESF is equipped with an energy-efficient, totally
enclosed, variable speed motor, which is mounted outside the air stream. A
service door on the front of the ventilator provides easy access to the inside
of the fan and the duct connections. The motor and impeller are mounted on the
door. The door has lockable snap locks. An optional safety lockout that prevents
the unit from operating while the door is open is available.
The duct connections are of the slip connection type with
built-in rubber seals. An optional flexible connection with minimal flow
resistance is available. The ventilator can be mounted on vibration
insulated support legs or from ceiling mounted brackets.
